Mavericks Blue Moon
In 2020, I went to Wapakoneta, Ohio to pick up a puppy from a Breeder. This Breeder had also brought another litter to see a local veterinarian, and after he showed me a Blue Doberman from that litter - a color I had never seen before - I knew I had to research and find one.. It took me until the end of 2022, and I was able to meet this Breeder from Missouri in Wapakoneta to receive this Beautiful Christmas Gift.
After bringing her home and getting to know her, I came up with her name paying tribute to her father thus "Mavericks Blue Moon" was chosen.
"Moon" as she was referred to was very observant, curious, and friendly spending her first weeks with me at work running around the Hardware store following me and greeting customers.
At home she fit in with the others enjoying her time on the couch as well as the trampoline and looking out the picture window as they all still do daily.
After passing all of her health certifications I decided to breed her to Draco and she did an exceptional job nurturing and spending time with her puppies.
Then I decided to try for a second litter of diluted puppies. I researched and found a Blue Male and everything was going well
Unfortunately, things took a turn... ten days before her expected due date, she went into labor. She started delivering and the puppies were not alive. A trip to the Veterinarian... and after IV's, and x-rays, it was determined that we were in trouble. After delivering the remaining puppies I brought her home and lost Moon, as well as the remaining puppies that she had delivered.
When we remember the good ones, I will always have a place in my heart for this Lovely Blue Moon and the love we shared with each other and the love she had for all of her puppies..
